Membership of the Rockhoppers
Mountaineering club will provide you with:
• A lively sociable
group of like minded folk to walk, climb and socialise with. The opportunity
to take part in the numerous club activities we arrange throughout the
year, including climbing trips all over Europe, slide shows and lecture
evenings and occasional discounts from the climbing shops.
• Affiliation to the British Mountaineering Council, BMC third party liability
insurance and receipt of the BMC's Summit magazine.
• Our very own Quarterly Newsletter, bringing you club news and articles
on all manner of climbing related subjects.
• Access to the Rockhoppers members email list where you can find out
about private trips, climbing wall sessions, social events etc or advertise
your own.
• Generally speaking we get a 10% discount at Cotswolds Camping, Field
and Trek, Snow and Rock, and Outside at Llanberis/Hathersage, Blacks &
Rock On, however this changes from time to time depending on the particular
stores policy regarding affiliated membership to the BMC. It often helps
to have your BMC membership number with you, this can be found alongside
