A pre Christmas meet to the spectacular Langdale deep in the central Lake District. What ever the weather this will be a fantastic trip, imagine it, an epic hike around some of the most beautiful areas of the Lakes followed by drink in the cosy bar down at the Old Dungeon Ghyll hotel.
As always the focus of the weekend can be what ever takes your fancy… hiking, scrambling, climbing, we’re in a beautiful area that offers it also fill your boots!
Specific Nav Focus / Night Nav
Over the weekend i’ll be focusing in on nav skills, both during the day and specifically doing night nav on the Saturday night. So if you are wanting to either learn new nav skills, brush up on existing ones or practise your ML micro nav then come along and get involved!
Accommodation
We will be staying in a remote hut called The Loft which is situated at Blea Tarn House near Blea Tarn. This is right at the end of the Langdale valley just west of Ambleside.
Price is £20 per person.
Sounds like a great weekend eh? Made all the better by the communal meal back in the warmth of the hut in the evening! All I ask is that you bring the wine and the pudding.
