Our next social walk is on Saturday 8th November, following a circular route from Sevenoaks station around Knole Park and Ightham Mote.
Our meeting point will be Sevenoaks station at 9.30am Saturday 8th November.
Approximately 10.4 mi / 16.8 km long, the walk sets off through the deer park of Knole House and carries on through gentle fields and woods. We'll pass by Ightham Mote, a manor house, before heading onto part of the Greensand Way. We'll then go by the wonderfully named One Tree Hill, before walking behind Knole Park again and back into Sevenoaks.
There will be a National Trust cafe we can pop into half way through the walk, and pubs in Sevenoaks we can drop into before heading home.
Please note paths may be quite muddy!
Transport
Those taking public transport from London will get the 8:45 train from Charing Cross station, arriving at Sevenoaks at 9:18. You can hop on the same train from Waterloo East at 8:48 and London Bridge at 8:54.
For those driving, there is paid parking at Sevenoaks station APCOA car park, and free street parking on some roads in the town (check local signage).
