Kick off the new year with our first club social of 2025! Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just curious to learn more, this is the perfect chance to meet fellow climbers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts. We'll be gathering in the Function Room upstairs at The Devereux just off the Strand from 7pm onwards on Tuesday, January 14th.

Come for a casual evening of good conversation, share your goals for the year, and discover our exciting plans for hikes, climbing socials, and more. New and prospective members are especially welcome—no need to RSVP, just swing by and say hi!

Kick off the year with our climbing social at The Castle Climbing Centre in Stoke Newington!

Join us for our February walkers’ social as we explore Epping Forest and enjoy a day of fresh air and great company. After the walk, we’ll head to The Bull Pub in Theydon Bois for a well-deserved lunch at 2:00 PM.

There's ticket options for just the walk, and walk + pub - to make sure we can reserve the right amount of places for the pub lunch, please only choose the pub option if you're confident you'll make it - if you're unsure select walk only.

Come along to our April pub social on Tuesday, April 8th for good company and inspiration for your springtime adventures. Whether you’re new to the club or a regular, you’re sure to feel welcome.

We're meeting at the Devereux Pub Function room from 7pm

Join us on the 13th of April for our walking social, which will be a circular walk in the Surrey Hills from Shalford rail station. The walk is a good introduction to what Surrey has to offer other than Box Hill. Taking in Chilworth gunpowder mills, the scenic St Martha’s hill, Changry wood and back via the Shalford water meadows beside the River Wey.

The walk is about 15km and should take around 4.5 hours. There is some up and down but nothing too arduous.

Meeting info: Meet at waterloo station at 845 for a 0900 train. Or meet directly at Salford station at 1015, parking available.
Gear: walking boots/shoes, snacks and water. Maybe waterproofs/suncream.

We will finish the walk at a pub for some food (optional), so please let us know by signing up "+ pub reservation" if you'd like to be included.

As well as the main walk, there will be a separate navigation practice walk for up to 6 club members to practice map reading skills, members can sign up on the meets page. It will start at the same place and finish at the same pub, so as well as signing up on the meets page please also sign up on eventbrite above so you are not missed off the pub reservation.

A social where two halves come together as one - for the walkers an urban walk through North London, and for the climbers a social outing to the Castle, finishing with everyone together for a drink and a pub lunch!

Celebrate the arrival of summer at our May social on Tuesday, May 20st. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new friends, share hiking tips, and get excited for the longer days ahead.

Weather permitting, we will be doing the famous Seven Sisters walk from Seaford to Eastbourne (20km). Join for fresh sea air and spectacular views.
